Red Flags for Beauty Services
These are my red flags for the beauty industry that you may want to avoid. Before you book or pay a deposit be aware of these signs. Did you know fake service providers are scamming potential clients? They promote themselves on social media promising great deals with hopes of unsuspecting clients sending deposits. These scammers will block you. They will even send you a fake location and will even use preexisting salons as their location to make it more believable. Be aware.
No communication- If you can’t communicate with them by text, DM, email, or phone, don’t book with them and do not send a deposit.
Filtered photos- If 90% of the social media photos of services are filtered chances are your service will be filtered, with BS.
Stock Photos- great service providers have great photos of their work because their work speaks for itself. Don’t be fooled by a Google photo.
No Reviews- Can you google their address? Can you leave a comment on their page? Do they have a legitimate booking site? Don’t be fooled boo.
